Hanging issued was developed a week earlier and I have performed windows installation twice since then to get rid of the problem as I mentioned in the earlier post. I haven't updated the windows nor installed any additional drivers. Thank you for the response guys.Well, After I performed the clean window install.

Or did the hangs develop after installing new drivers? Or did the hangs develop after updating windows?
Medium with some stuff turned down even from that. When you performed the clean install did you have the hangs before updating windows and before installing drivers? What were you doing specifically when the crashed occurred?ĭriving normally not doing anything crazy.
I feel like this all began possibly after the giant windows 10 update in mid to late November. Which stage were you within the championship\custom event?ĭoes not seem to matter though sweden seems to be a sure lock up. Some championship stuff in the subaru 2000. Generally custom event rally in the 2007 ford. I am able to restart via the windows power button. The pedals will begin to not function and then within about 2 to 3 seconds the game will freeze. Game freezes at random points usually at least 2 stages into any event. I tried dumping dirt from steam and reinstalling it and that did not do the trick. It never did this before so I believe it to be either the latest giant update by windows or something to do with your v1.0 update.
Hopefully you guys can help me as its such a brilliant game for the 20 secs it doesnt freeze.Įdit: I tried benchmark and it runs fine without any issues, as soon as ii try play with keyboard, mouse or wheel it starts to stutter and freezeĭirt Rally keeps freezing up on me during normal driving.
Pretty sure it's something to do with writing to the harddrive but dont know how to fix as ive seen a lot of threads with the problem, I also turned down to ultra low settings but not difference. I get around 300 fps when it stutters and freezes the fps doesnt even drop.
I have also tried unplugging my keyboard and mouse while playing neither seems to work.Ĭlosed down everything apart from steam, logitech profiler. I run dirt rally off my HDD rather than my SSD My g27 starts going crazy and then it sorts itself out after around 10 seconds. I've noticed my disk usage and my cpu usage spike up to 100% when it stutters and then freezes.
Hi there just got Dirt Rally today and for my first race it worked fine and the more i played the more it stutters I've restarted the game and PC nothing seems to work its almost unplayable now.
